As a partner Adrienne heads up the firm’s Financial Services department as well as handling a wide range of general practice Audit and Accounts clients. She specialises in business advice, tax and business development and growth strategies particularly aimed at family businesses.
Since joining the company in 1995 Adrienne has been committed to the development of the high standards of Financial Services advice that the firm now delivers through its subsidiary company Martin Aitken Financial Services Ltd. She has a lot of experience of working with charities and has assisted statutory bodies in the drafting of legislation for charities within Scotland. Adrienne is a member of the ICAS council.
Adrienne is also Staff Partner within the firm and as a mother of 4 Adrienne relaxes by attending the gym and walking.

Ian Finch - Dip PFS

Director
Ian joined the firm in 2003 and has over 21 years experience within the financial services industry. His entire time in the industry has been spent looking after both individual and corporate clients.
Ian would regard himself as a General Practitioner within the advice/planning arena although his particular areas of expertise are Pre/Post Retirement Planning, Inheritance Tax Mitigation and Lump Sum Investment Solutions. He is qualified to Diploma level (Dip PFS) under the Personal Finance Society (PFS) qualification regime and is close to achieving Chartered Status.
His qualifications include

Alasdair MacDougall - Dip PFS

Alasdair joined MAFS Ltd in 2005 following the merger with Wm Lockhart & Co where he had worked since 2003.
Alasdair was educated at Loretto and Strathclyde University where he gained a BA in economics and politics.
He has over 26 years experience in financial services, advising personal and corporate clients on a wide range of financial, investment and tax matters.
Alasdair's qualifications include
